Default Best Appearance Mod EEvverr

Lately I've been working on the appearance of my Camaro, All that seems like a waste now because I get to sport this new addition!

Just a reminder why "most" women shouldn't be driving

quarter is dented above where the quarter and bumper meet and where the side molding is behind the door, rear bumper is pushed in also. Hard to tell in pics because car is white

I was wondering if there was body damage as I was typing my last post. You are right, it is hard to tell...Hate to hear that.
Might be able to clean up the traded paint with my method, unless that is primer showing.

life always has those "tough'' lessons... I handed over the keys to my girlfriend, she drove the Vette for 2 days.. and it came back perfect..

the one time i let my ex-wife drive my trans am..we hit roadkill, knocked my exhaust apart at the y-pipe..and the car smelled rotten from the animal stuck underneath..

yeah, my car was sitting outside my work when this happened. Car wasn't even close to her and she was backing out(wasn't a car on other side of her), cut the wheel too soon or something and hit my car. You'd think once she made contact she would have stopped? I'm glad it wasnt my front fender tho.. just put hockeys on this past weekend and it was a pita

Here's what we accomplished (well, Matt - pir7tr did, haha) with my bumper with very similar damage.
Got the car that day and 97 miles later I was rear ended by a lady >.<

Before

After wash, claybar (removed 25-30%), wet sand (2000 grit) and buff/polish (Matt, what did we use here?)

Came out really awesome, only those couple spots left and thats where I actually lost my paint.

Don't be too discouraged!

EDIT: haha just look at how much cleaner the whole car is, first pic isn't even washed, second is after full claybar haha...actually white and doesn't look like milk anymore =P

happysem: clayed the bumper then brought it by the house

We lightly wet sanded with 2000 grit
I followed that with M105 and a yellow pad
Next Duragloss TPP 105
Finally topped with Duragloss Clear Coat Polish 111

I'd say 85%-90% of the bumper cover was corrected minus the actual damage done to the bumper below the rear quarter.

That ain't to bad compared to mine. I had mine parked in a lot behind this used car dealership looking at a pewter T/A and wasn't even gone from mine but maybe 5 min. and came back to mine with a big *** dent in my rear 1/4 just behind the driver door and to beat all, no one left a note or said anything to anyone about it and no one saw it happen.
