Powdercoated caliper brackets....
I had mine chromed, so I can't help you on the powdercoating, but I think it's much easier to clean them with SOME kind of coating (chrome, powdercoat, etc).
1) The little piece where the caliper bolt goes into (the threaded tube with the rubber cap on the end) is all greased up - when re-installing that, what sort of grease does one use? On the rear brackets there's the grease plus this white waxy stuff, WTF is that?
2) For those of you that have done this already, how easy are the brackets to clean? There was a recent post about clear coating polished brackets, does having a clear powdercoat on top of the colour make it easier to clean?
