Is this oxidation and how should I correct it?
Really hard to tell in this picture, but I guess I would describe it as small cloudy areas, that remain dry to the touch even after wax. I can only notice them at certain angles and certain light conditions. Seems to be on areas on the top. My side panels and whatever are all fine. I'm guessing this is from the sun?
Anyways I was thinking of using some compound, a paint corrector, polish, and wax with my PC. Would that do the trick? Any advice would be great!

my buddies escalade had some pretty good oxidation on his black hood, we used some low cut machine glaze on a buffing pad, and it completely took it out, and we cleaned it back up and finished with a sealer.

for pads you will need orange, black, white. but you will do it with just orange and black pads.
as for products if you want something that you can pick up locally I would do Meguiars Ultimate Compound with orange pad. followed by Meguiars Ultimate Polish with black pad.
also remember to claybar the ares before correcting it.
if you can wait and want to order products online I would go with meguiars M105 and M205. m105 used with orange pad and m205 with black pad. or you can order Menzerna SIP and use it with an orange pad.
also check out the ask a professional detailer thread on here and check out page 3. Gofast listed some other recommended products in there
