Export/LT1 taillight socket question

I just bought a set of exports and read I need to mod the sockets to fit my 98. Does anyone have pictures of how you modded the socket to get the factory light sockets to fit?

A small file to open the hole a bit. Youll see when you put the socket up to the hole. It will seal up also.

I used a small dremel. I just put some lt1 tails on my 01 SS. They look soo much better.
