Default Flasher for DRL's

OK guy I just put led's in my front drls and of course they dont flash. I've read a few threads on the topic but what flasher do I need to have me blinkers and hazards work is it for sure the EL12? The rears are still the original bulbs so should I just get 2 el flahers? ONe for hazards and one for the front?

EL12s will work, but the best ones would be the square ones that Autolumination/SuperBrightLEDs sells. It's not called the EL12, but it does have a 12 in the beginning of the model number. I have been running EL12s but I am looking for a true electronic flasher. I have read that the EL12 is an electromechanical flasher and not a true electronic flasher.

^ You are correct and I'll look into the autobright one. Your el12 is working fine though correct? Reason being is that I need to just get them working so I'll probably just go grab a pair then look at the autobright will the el12 still work with the regular bulbs in the rear

I made some LED turn signals/DRLs for the front with filament bulbs in the rear and my EL12 works fine...

The EL12 works, but it's not the same as the electronic ones. Just throw the stock bulbs back in so your flashers work until you get the electronic ones in the mail. They should be almost the same price as the EL12s. That's what I would do if I were in your position, since it'd be a waste of money to buy the EL12s AND the fully electronic ones. BTW it's really easy to pull the front DRLs on Firebirds if you turn the headlights on and stick one arm in under the headlights to remove the DRL socket from the reflector. No need to get under the car. Drivers side light I use my left arm, passenger side I use my right arm.
