Default Water Spots, please help.

I have some serious water spot problems on my windows. They must have been there a long time because I use soft water to wash the car now. I can't seem to get them out! In fact, on my tinted windows I half wonder if it is between the tint and the window. But, I also have some slighlty more minor spots on my front windshield and the t-tops.

Any help is much appreciated. I wouldn't mind throwing some strong stuff on the windows, but I don't want to damage the paint or anything....

I know people use several methods with water spots. Personally I like the clear view glass polish from zaino. I am determined that polish can remove anything from glass. At least from my experience.
