Search for a 2" grommet, you should find something.

I would like to remove the EGR, but doesn't it set off an SES light?

Should I paint the lower airbox gloss black as well, or just leave it? Hmm

yea deleting the EGR trips the ses light but a mail order tune will eliminate that problem, and id leave the lower air lid unpainted. it seems to flashy with paint on it IMO

looks really good man. just duplicolor and lots of sanding? I think it would look good to do the lower air box as well.

I used an orbital sander and sanded right through the "SLP" logo, then I feathered the sanding out, then finishing with 600 grit wet. Then 3 coats of primer, wetsand with 600 grit again. My color was a urethane base coat (3 coats) then I cleared it (3 coats).

On my last TA I used duplicolor pewter, and Rustoleum wheel clear coat. It's all in the clear, and I find that the regular duplicolor clears suck.

I like the look of a painted lower air box.

I agree that you should paint the radiator support, it's not difficult and IMO gives everything a more finished look. Lid looks great! As mentioned there's those little ground wires and removing the EGR and AIR systems. Until you can afford/get around to a tune, take your cluster apart and put a piece of electrical tape on the underside of the overlay where the SES light is. Why is it that people always seem to forget to relocate the hood release cable? Haha it was easiest and the first one I did!

I drilled a hole ad fed it thru like the wires on the other side. Disconnect it from the latch by removing the two bolts that hold the latch onto the brace. The cable will disconnect easily.
