Default Is there a way to change the dash lights from green to blue?

I got some Cobalt gauges and they are really blue when the lights go on... Is there any way to change the blubs in the dash so it is more closer to blue then the greenish color they are stock?

Go to a sign shop , one that specializes in custom commercial signs and stuff like that . Ask them if they carry a 3M transparent film called Scotchcal marking film . If they do , get royal blue . Peel off the factory guage face , you will need to remove the needles ....and apply the film to the backside of the guage face everywhere theres white numbers on the front . Hold the face up to a light to see better where to apply the film . Then use a MacEwen Xenon clear or Zenon Blue ( this bulb is not really blue , more of a HID type color ) . Your needles wont be effected at all and will still light up bright red . The film was cheap ...I bought the minimum I could and spent $18 . Hardest part is removing and putting the needles back on correctly so I wouldnt have to have the guages re-calibrated . Same concept would apply to the Hvac overlay and the headlight overlay .

I mentioned the Xenon bulbs because you will need a much brighter light to penetrate the blue than a stock 194 . The end result is still brighter than the factory backlighting .
