I dont mind it and for the price - win.

I wouldnt do it my self but its nice to see someone trying something thats different.

Anyone seen a splitter on a 93-97 Camaro that looks decent?

I'm not one of those "internet" guys. I am very aware that it functions well, but there are ways to keep it looking good as well as making it work well. There are a ton of road race and drifters that make everything look great.

the entire point of the stuff on the front of the car was to make it look like nothing else anyone has. i am so sick of hearing the "i saw a car that looked just like yours today" from people.

how some of you think it looks doesnt bother me one bit, its functional and i like it. i got a brand new bumper for free so why not spend some time and a little money to just do whatever i want? it isnt some "DRAG ONLY!!!!!!!" setup, because that is in my mind dumb, these cars can do so much more than that. its been to the autox, drift events the 1/4 and probably road racing next year, so while a splitter with rods may not quite look like it belongs, its fine. just take a deep breath and tell yourself its fine.

since the pictures, ive taken the tow hook off...it was really more of a joke to the import kids around here. i want to get the rods anodized black sometime soon, i have a friend who can do it, im just too lazy to take the splitter off and get it done

Yesirr... much better. I like it a lot now. I think the side splitters may need to be body color though, just to help them blend....

Fury, I applaud you for going out there and making it yourself. It definitely takes skills to make something like this from scratch. Most importantly, it sounds like you're taking your car, having fun with it, and doing more with it than most of us on the site. Kudos

thank you...that was the whole point of this, and the car in general. i dont like the norm, i dont like being limited to one thing i.e. drag racing.

here was my idea:
