Trans AM Letters on Door I want to remove the letters on my door so I can get them painted. How do I remove these without breaking them an without damaging the paint on the car? I want to paint them either silver or red...I'll post pics when i get em done. Thanks

Re: Trans AM Letters on Door it si practically impossible to get them of nice and good and reuse . just order some new red or silver ones ta the dealership for 25 bucks a set. well it might coast more because i get a discaount or else order them from gmpartsdirect.com or somthing.that is hwta i ddi with mine just make sure you place them righ the first time because when they stick they stick on for permanent. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

I cant see why people would pay $25 for stickers when you can just go to the dealer and get new ones in the color *stock for any year* you want for that price.
Yea its a bit of a mess and time consoming but its a better look in my mind
Thats what I did with mine in '99 and dont regret it at all.
