DIY HP emblems
But then Ebay gave the wrong address to SLP, and I lost them.
These are $4.79 for the pair from Office Depot...with plenty of transfer numbers left over for future mods lol. I'm happy with the no nonsense message/look.
Yes, est. flywheel HP looks better than dyno'd 394 rwhp

ps yes, I guess I'm cheap when it comes to cosmetics... I still have my chrome snowflakes :-)

OP you could've gone on eBay and found some better stylized stickers on there to put on.
Heck, look for a local sign shop and see if a someone with a vinyl cutter can cut you some nice decals.

I guess I wasn't born with a Bling gene.
I can still peal them off when I get tired of them or when I see it your way.
For now, I'm going with the non-store-bought look, like the horsepower itself. Simple and subject to change like an odometer.
Second point. I never understood why one would advertise HP in the first place. In a signature on a message board? Okay, fine. I'm not likely to race anyone from LS1tech anytime soon, and to some degree it says something about each forum member and what've we've achieved with our own hardware. But when you wear it on the fender, I think you give up a key piece of your car's mystique to anyone who pulls up next to you, be it someone you'd race or someone just admiring your car.
Just a thought or two. I'd peel those up.
I'd use them to put my address on my rear quarter panels, park my car at the edge of the driveway and then leave my hatch open so the Mail-Carrier can leave my mail there.
Oh wait.
Only kidding OP.
Here's a note to all of you that want to keep your HP a "big secret": You're not doing it right. The real money making hustlers have a crappy looking car with big bucks under the hood, and nobody, I mean NOBODY, knows what's done to it. If you don't fit into that category, then it really doesn't hurt anything if people know what your HP numbers are, LOL.
OP, my best advice would be to go to a sign shop that can make them look a LOT better, and they still won't be that expensive
