i don't think i would do that... bodyshop told the old owner of my car it would be $13,000 for the exact same amount of damage. When i bought the car i ended up putting in only about $2000 worth of cash in, including frame damage.
But i did all the work myself...

you can get a aftermarket SS hood anywhere for a decent price. the windsheild i would say up to $500, everything else will be around 200-300 bucks a piece give or take a little.
Airbags will be the most expensive thing i got my driver side at a salvage for $300- the passanger side i just didn't fix cuz i was quoted about $700 for it...

Best bet would be to hit up salvage yards... good luck

Check out my sig. I BOUGHT a wrecked 98 Z28 for $4500. I would say with everything, I have about $10000 total in it. I replaced the windshield/$100 deal, hood/$695 deal (aftr mrkt), entire front end $400??, one headlight/$120, drvrs fender/$120, drvrs door/250??, drvrs qrtr/$250??, drvrs /pass side air bags/module/$650, steering column and dash/$150. That was about 13 month project. My biggest advantage was that my father-in-law used to work at SLP and my buddy owns the salvage yard. Plus, the guy who painted it works for a dealership body shop. You might also have to figure a couple hundred for the frame rack (if needed). I'm guessing the reason mine was totaled to begin with was because of the frame damage. It was wrecked good, but it's flyin' now!!!
