Low pro tires or regular tires
So I just bought a new set of wheels, now my question is should I get low pro tires or all weather low pro tires or just all weather tires. Now I'm going to be driving in rain. Sucky Washington but what can ya do? Now it some times gets a little iced but no snow really, so what would u guys recommend. By the way I'm looking for the best looking/ most effective combination. Thank you
* 1 set of wheels and tires for the summer with great summer / rain tires
* 1 set of wheels and tires for the winter with great snow / ice tires
For the Summer I have: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires
(Unfortunately these are discontinued and I think I got the last set of 4 in the country in the 275/40/17 size.)
For the Winter I have: Blizzak WS-50 tires
(Blizzak has a newer model now, I think its called WS-60)
Neither is cheap, but they are great tires.
What do you mean lowpro vs. regular? Just get the tires that fit correctly, have the correct load rating, and correct overall height. If you get the wrong height the speedometer will be wrong.
TireRack (a sponsor) is great at showing you what tire sizes will work.
