Heat gun or hair dryer will soften the glue...they should then peel off easily.

I just used my finger nail to get it started... and then pulled it off slowly. You can also use a heat gun or hair dryer.... as already stated. I then used alchol to remove the adhesive.... then waxed back over that.

Default What if pin stripe was painted on? How to remove?

Hi guys. I didn't want to create another thread about this so I'm adding my question here. How could I remove a painted on pin stripe. It doesn't look like a regular stripe, it's actually painted, BUT above the body paint...it's not under the clear coat...it was simply painted on. I tried using a hair dryer, but this $h!+ won't come off! It was on the car when I got it...not a good pic, but you get the idea.

if its painted i would take it to a body shop and see if they might could lightly wet sand it off then buff the car.

If it is painted easy off oven cleaner will take it off. Just let it sit for like ten minutes and then just rub it off with a micro fiber or terry cloth. Easy as pie.
