tbyrne hood hello, i have a 98 z28. i like the looks of the tbyrne ultra z hood. does anyone know if you have to change your airbox around with one of these hoods, or do you leave everything as is ? thanks beaner39

Re: tbyrne hood i thought the ultra z hood was slp, if its the same hood u shouldnt, but i dont think it would hurt anything to put a ss lower air box and aftermarket lid on, i hope this helps, peace <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />

Re: tbyrne hood I have one and am very happy with it. The SS lower airbox is the same as the Z28/Transam airbox. Maybe you meant the WS6 lower air box?
I put the WS6 lower air box on mine and cut up the exit of the scoop to match the bigger opening and also removed the baffle then sealed it to the airbox. I have been very happy with it.
Oh and it looks damn sexy too!
