Ehhhh, i dont like it at all. but to each his own. thats why its your car. creative/different idea for a Fbody though. I just dont think they belong on a bird or a camaro

I thought about doing this years ago when I saw a stang with one.

Thing is I wanted to lower the car more than leaving the 4x4 and have side exh. To do it right, you'd need to go into the rocker. A bit too much work for me. Yeah at some point, I may do it. Pull the carpet, cut some of the floor etc. Only other issue is fuel lines and subframe connectors. I'd still like to try it but not now...

what about rectangle tips? i already have these tips so i wouldnt have to buy any. not sure if i should cut into the side skirt or just put the tip underneith

If its a single tip out the side, its gotta be at least 3", polished with a rolled lip to make it look thicker.

hmm. i know the real boom tubes are super expensive but i bet someone could fab them up for cheap. they are kinda like nascar pipes that are flat and run out the side. i think they look badass and they sound

The other thing to consider is how empty the back end will look without tips. We used to have a t bucket with side exit exhaust. Just be careful not to touch it. Burns hurt.

Imho camaro look night without the exhaust tips. I cut mine back and dumped them. I think the biggest issue you will have is ground clearance if you are lowered

yeah i think they look the best with no tips or cme, i would love to see a side exhaust done right though,imo every one i have seen just looks off to me
