Default Trans Am Headlight Raise/Lower Arm

Well, finally installed my brass headlight gears. However, in the process of taking off the raise/lower arm off of the shaft, I also appeared to have broken off the little plastic piece that holds the upper arm onto the headlight itself. Now, when I lower the headlights ,the shaft comes loose as there is no
little retaining piece to keep the upper arm from sliding out of the hole when the headlights are lowered. Anyone else ever have this problem? And if you did, is this little piece available from the dealer or do I have to buy a new bracket/etc.?

Thanks,
Rod
