Hurst plastic boot ring thing? Lol

Has anyone put this on their stock shifter boot? I don't know how to get it to fit without cutting up my boot and I don't want to do that.

If your talking about the thing underneath that snaps into your plastic housing there is a sponsor here that sells a stainless steel one. Its fairly cheap and strong a must have. I broke my plastic clips just trying to snap them back on.

I'm talking about the little black thing in my picture that goes on the top part of the boot. It supposed to make it look like this.

I freakin lost my black clip right after I installed the shifter... wish I had it. Anyone know where I can pick one up? Would love to show that sick "Hurst" engraved stick. Might have to get a custom boot made from redline though.
