POR-15 is a popular choice, but decided try rust bullet automotive paint.

I'm pretty pleased with the result. I'm going to paint the "frame rails" in Por-15 though.

I did prep the surfaces by sanding everything down with an orbital sander where possible, and by hand where the sander couldn't be used.

3 days, I took my time sanding and masking. I did not use my spray gun, just brushed it on.

Nice work. What did you have to do to disconnect all the lines to the fuel tank to drop it?

I released the pressure using the schrader valve on the fuel rail. Then I disconnected all the fuel lines, and plugged them up using vacuum caps. Thanks for the compliment.

What car is this? My first thought was f-body (that looks like the bottom of the trunk), but I see an IRS.

That's an fbody you can see the rear seat holes.

There is an IRS thread in the suspension section from August 2011. It rides firm, it's still a lowered car with 11" wide wheels on the rear, but is far less jittery over road imperfections.

That is correct also, he was probably the first to put one on a 4th gen - at least first documented install any way, Orange_99_SS also has one.
