Default License plate cover

Where can I get that front license plate cover from? I hate having a damn plate. Does anyone but GM sell them? I figure they will rip me off....much thanks...

You can call the parts counter to get the PartNumber and then enter that Part Number at www.gmpartsdirect.com to see if they have it. If they have it, it will cost about half what the dealer wants.

i live in cleveland, ohio. if you have ever heard of discount drug mart, they have them for i think like 2.99. i also just got pulled over for having a cover over my licence plate. try going to google and searching for discount drug mart, maybe they have shipping which may still be cheaper than what you're looking for

I'd search the "Parts for Sale" section here, post your need in "Parts Wanted", check ebay frequently, or find a salvage yard and see if they have one.

What kind of cover are you talking about? A smoked or clear cover like you can get at an auto parts store or walmart? The thread starter is talking about the stock piece that fills in the license plate cavity in the front of firebirds.

I have been searching for a long damn time too. The part number is 10276353. Gmpartsdirect has it for $39.41. Dealer has it listed at $66.80.
