wow nice job man, again i wish you were closer....Just out of curiosity from someone who knows nothing about detailing or paint correction....why do you tape off the doors and fenders and all the gaps?

He tapes the edges to keep the buffer from burning through the paint there since the paint is thinner on the corners

This is correct. When doing heavy rotary work with a wool pad, those edges need to be protected.
