Default Cloudy headlights

What to do about this? I'm thinking I might try getting some of that cleaner that motorcycle shops sell to clean the helmet face sheilds with. I remember when I had my 5.slow, I pulled the lights all out and used a water/bleach mix to bring the shine back. Does anyone have a proven method that doesn't require removing the headlights? TIA

I'm having the same problem, and I think I'm going to try Meguire's plastic polish (if I can find a place that sells it). I have heard that it works pretty well.

plastic polish is your best bet but after a while it will come back, mine are totally fuked up right now (hiding behind the headlight covers, shhhhh)

Advance Auto Parts sells mequires plastic polish and cleaner($6). They are in blue and white bottles. I've used it and I highly recommend it. It is an excellent product. My headlights on my t-bird were fogged so bad they were almost yellow, then I used this and it made them look new. Good luck finding it. In my store it's on the lawnmower/motorcycle aisle.

So does O'Reilly's. At least the one I work at does. If it's not in stock, they can order it.
