Secure Tailight covers?
Secure Tailight covers? So I bought some tailight covers from summit the other day as an impulse buy when I was there getting pushrods. I LOVE how they look. They have great fitment and are very shiny, look like glass. My stock tails have the laminate peeling off badly and one corner is even busted and siliconed back in place, so these worked great.
I have one problem with them though. Everywhere I go Im scared someone is going to grab them off the car. Im trying to figure out a way to secure them. I thought about getting some small sheetmetal screws and screwing into the tops of them where they snap over the tailight. Im not sure if there is actually any metal there to screw into though. I even thought of super glue but then if I get pulled over for a "fix it" ticket I cant pull them off.
Any Ideas???
Please dont come into here telling me to tint my stockers. They look like **** and I dont want to spend $200+ dollars on some more. I like how my covers look.
