Default Trufiber WS6 hood weight?
As title says, what's the weight of Trufiber WS6? Is it really 35lbs, almost like stock?

Its about the same weight as a stock ws6 hood. I know its noticeably lighter than the steel hood. I've put a couple on. They fit really good!!

How is it possible, when VFN hood is only 25#, I don't get... If it were lighter, I would stop my searches for hood already...

Depends on how they structure it I guess. I put the WS9 on my moms T/A and it didnt feel like it was 35lbs. I didnt weigh it to see. I know they use stainless metal mesh in the snorkels but I doubt those pieces weigh that much. It's a sturdy hood. Not flemsy like some other glass hoods I've messed with. I've never installed a VFN or messed with one actually , so I can't offer that comparison.

Well what feels like 25# to you might fell 45# to me and be 35# in reality

Have one sitting at the house right now. Mine is a ws6 with heat extractors. I'll weigh it tonight to get a definite weight for you.

I'm trying to get myself a hood too lol and damn. You always find mixed reviews. I did email trufiber tho, the responded to my email in about 20 minutes?

That's weird. Check the email make sure it's the right one! Yesterday I was emailing with them back and forth for about an hour. So thats weird.
