Those damn louver things on the base of my Auto shifter are driving me insane from the exhaust vibration. Just wondering if anyone had done any kind of upgrade, like a leather boot.... like the a4 vette has. Anything??

i saw a pic of a guy who used a vette **** and boot from a C5 and it looked good, im gonna do it soon when i figure out what **** i want, i say do it.

ya, there have been posts recently about this actually. MBA sells a new a4 **** and while people change it out, they get a boot to go with it, you will probably have to trim it, but it will work, just do a search on a4 boots and you should come across install help

Any shift boot should work.

There is also a kit available that allows the use of a manual ****:

Just push down on the **** to select a gear.
