Default Camaro ss hood question

Hi I brought oem ss hood from a local guy got it painted and put it on aligned the hood it's on my girl v6 Camaro I've notic driving her Camaro it bounce around like crazy What does that mean?

Can you elaborate on bounce like crazy? Does the hood move around on the latch? Or is the hood itself flexing and moving? If its the first Id say something isnt aligned properly. If its the later I would say that perhaps you have an aftermarket fiberglass hood that may need pins. How much did the hood weigh? do you recall?

What year car? Pics? The hood may not be installed properly. The hood latch hook on the hood may need to be adjusted, the hood latch mechanism behind the bumper may need to be adjusted. The hood "bumpers" or whatever they're called may need to be adjusted. My stock hood started to rattle one day, noticed that one of the bumpers that the hood rests on in the engine bay had broken the threads off. Got a new one from a junk yard and problem solved. Hope this helps.
