Default Sound deaden

Trying to insulate a 1968 Firebird. Is Dynamat the only way go when working with a deadener? Seems awful expensive for this stuff. If so, are the pre cut kits the way to go?

Thanks

You could spray on lizard skin or a similar product instead of actually laying a mat down. There is another company called thermo-tec that makes an adhesive backed heat barrier, but im not sure that is what you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply! Basically the product that offers the best sound deadening, with out adding 50lbs of goo.

Search for sound deadening, there is a ton of threads on here. I would post some links that I have bookmarked, but I'm on my phone.
