02 TA side moldings

Thinking bout dropping the side moldings on the ol bird when she hits the body shop in a few days. R they just taped on? Or holes behind them? Dont wann drop to much money nor have bondo in it. Anyone have any pics where theyve removed them?

just search. probably half the cars on here have side molding removed

i did it to 2 camaros. one came off right. the other took half the clearcoat and paint off with it. i kinda like the molding on the firebirds..

one side came off great the other side pulled some clear with it nothing some 1000 grit sand paper some, water, polishing compound followed by a good buff and wax couldn't take care of. but yea one side to 30 minutes the other took 3 hours. lolol but it looks much better with them gone!!!
