Cleaned My Engine Bay
Nothing better to do since I don't have a job, so I went to town and cleaned my engine up a bit.
I only did the top of the motor, here's a before and after shot. The bottom of the motor looks like hell. This took about 2 hours to do. I can see the valve covers now LOL! I used Simple Green, Water, Scuff pad (for intake manifold), Lots of Elbow Grease and Armor All and tons of rags. I used spray on wax for the engine bay painted areas to give it a little shine. It looks a lot better in my opinion. I didn't take anything apart so it was hard to get to certain spots. I was gonna put a Flowmaster sticker on the right side of the radiator cover (which is why it doesn't have Armour All on it, but I couldn't find it)

WAAAY better now. I recommend throwing the Armor All in the garbage can though and buying a quality plastic/rubber trim dressing like Surf City Garage Dash Away, Lucas Slick Mist, some sort of "Adams" brand plastic dressing, or anything that doesn't have alcohol in it like Armor All & Mothers Back to Black; alcohol will cause plastics to fade and turn gray.

You should know that Armor All will destroy plastic and rubber.... It makes stuff shiny by drawing the oils out to the surface. The oil in plastic and rubber keep it together and prevent cracking.
Try some better stuff or use vasoline like the ol' days before all these fancy sprays.
