Maroon Metallic Wheel Choice. Which of these?
Maroon Metallic Wheel Choice. Which of these? I haven't seen anyone running these wheels with that lip on an MMM car but i've been wanting something with a black spoke for a while. Anyone have any pics of a maroon car with these?
or keep these chrome c5z's?
Also been playing around with the idea of plasti dipping these c5z's(just the spokes) and leaving a chrome lip. That's an option too.
What I mean by that is Plasti-Dip the backgroud of the wheel and leave the face and lip chrome.

Well I've been wanting something more 5 spoked rather than my c5z wheels, the only thing I don't like about the ones I am being offered is that the lip is really really shallow and the lip is machined and not chrome.

I'd do the C5's but would have them in Chrome. I have them in Polished and I hate it everyday that I got the Polished ones instead of chrome. To much work to keep them looking good, haha.

Here are the results. The car is filthy and they didn't come out perfect, I need to re-do one of the wheels. I think I would really like it if it were gloss. I'm not a huge fan of the flat color but I knew that going in. I may try another approach. I'd have the c5 wheels but there is something about them I don't like. I think it's the lip...it's too small and it's polished not chrome. The black does have a mean look to it though. Not as shiny and attention attracting as the chrome but more reserved and angry looking.

If you want 5 spoke, you cant go wrong with ZR1s especially on our color. I'm thinking about getting another set of zr1s, but with fats in the back and an offset lip.

I cleaned the car up real quick and here is what she looks like now. I'm missing one lug cover haha. I need to get my black berger panel finished and this will look pretty good I think.
