I haven't seen anyone running these wheels with that lip on an MMM car but i've been wanting something with a black spoke for a while. Anyone have any pics of a maroon car with these?


or keep these chrome c5z's?



Also been playing around with the idea of plasti dipping these c5z's(just the spokes) and leaving a chrome lip. That's an option too.
What I mean by that is Plasti-Dip the backgroud of the wheel and leave the face and lip chrome.

Maroon really makes chrome stand out so I'd keep the C5 wheels you have.

Keep what you have and spend the money on springs.

Or try the plasti dip out for the hell of it. If you don't like it it peels off.

Well I've been wanting something more 5 spoked rather than my c5z wheels, the only thing I don't like about the ones I am being offered is that the lip is really really shallow and the lip is machined and not chrome.

I'd do the C5's but would have them in Chrome. I have them in Polished and I hate it everyday that I got the Polished ones instead of chrome. To much work to keep them looking good, haha.

I bought some plasti dip today and i am going to shoot the spokes on my c5z wheels black and leave the centers and lip chrome this weekend and see how they look.

For sure man. I am testing out my plasti dip skills on the mirrors on my old pickup right now and will hopefully get the wheels done tomorrow.

machined c5 would look good, or chrome...the black looks bad on a maroon car IMO

I hate the c5z wheels so anything but those or ZR1s

Here are the results. The car is filthy and they didn't come out perfect, I need to re-do one of the wheels. I think I would really like it if it were gloss. I'm not a huge fan of the flat color but I knew that going in. I may try another approach. I'd have the c5 wheels but there is something about them I don't like. I think it's the lip...it's too small and it's polished not chrome. The black does have a mean look to it though. Not as shiny and attention attracting as the chrome but more reserved and angry looking.

If you want gloss put a coat of clear over the plasti dip. worked great when i did it.

Hey I found my cars twin(s)!

If you want 5 spoke, you cant go wrong with ZR1s especially on our color. I'm thinking about getting another set of zr1s, but with fats in the back and an offset lip.

I cleaned the car up real quick and here is what she looks like now. I'm missing one lug cover haha. I need to get my black berger panel finished and this will look pretty good I think.
