I smoke in mine but I do keep the windows down a good bit to draw out most of the smell and clean the inside a lot because since I DD mine, stuff gets in the car and stays for a day and it kills me, I can't stand a lot of stuff inside the car, makes me feel as if the car is completely dirty haha. It doesn't smell like smoke inside the car to me or others that get inside the car though.

As for the smell inside your friends car, can't help you there other than the shampooing it, that's about it.

x3 on ozium. Works good on eliminating odors especially smoke. Bought it for my cars and then started using it in my room to get rid of the beer, man, and hungover scents.

I would shampoo /clean the inside very good, honest if ya dont have the right tools it might be a good idea to take it to a detail shop, i never had any luck with shampoo in a can so i would stay away from that, and then go date a dancer lol, i have dated a few and one of them would always spray the int with what she wore to work lol,im not going to lie my car or any car has never smelled better, man that chick was alot of fun lol

I hear you can take charcoal and put it into an aluminum pan and leave it in the car to absorb odors.

X2 on this. I would check with a local "detail shop" ugh I hate using those words, or if you know someone at a dealership, see how much it would be if you take your seats out and take the car to them and have them professionally extract it.

Halfway fill a pair of tube socks with cat litter, knot the open ends, toss one under each seat
