you can polish the stock fuel rails, I did mine..then clearcoated it to keep it from rusting.

HotRodLane only sells the modified fuel rails chromed for $265 I have my factory rails out right now for chroming - no where near that price.
If you're gonna send them out for polishing - you might as well go the extra step and get them chromed - the polishing step is what 95% of the labor charge is for. That way you don't hev to worry about protecting the surface or polishing from time to time.

For those that have chromed their fuel rails:
Did you remove the cap & guts of the regulator 1st? I would think you have to - but when I removed the internal snap-ring the center portion would still not come out
Am I missing something? Is there a trick?
