Honestly,
I think that eibach prokit has the best looking stance out of all the lowering springs out there. I had BMR 1.25 lowering springs, and it looked nice, but i still wish it would have been a bit lower.
So IMO, eibach. Alot of people will probably bash them for whatever reason, but they give the meanest looking stance.

Check out our BMR lowering springs, they give the car a 1.25" drop with out sacrificing too much ground clearance or ride quality. Here are a couple of cars with our BMR lowering springs installed on them.

From the sounds of it, you'd be really happy with the BMR springs. They have a really nice drop, right in the range you'd like, and a nice ride.
And since you don't want it too low, I'd say leave the rear isolators in and see how you like it. If you want lower, than remove it and do the
heater hose mod. My car is the second one in the pics BMR posted above, and that is with the heater hose mod done in the rear.
a more up to date look with the BMR's:

I wanted even lower though, so I just swapped in some sport lines in the rear, which lowered it about another .5"

also, although it is practically never mentioned when discussing ride height, and people talking about how low their car is and what not, remember
that wheel and tire size does play a pretty big part. When I throw my stock wheels on I scrape EVERYWHERE, even when doing an angled entrance
