Gloss black is definitely better than the flat that you had prior!

yea for sure, the gloss hides the defects and forces your eye towards the motor... it worked really well. Still got the coil and alternator relocation left, may still switch up the valve covers again just cant decide what i want or what would look good (opinions anyone?)... im having some debate about the battery and rather I want to relocate it or not as well.

Repaint the block. Carbon fiber wrap the stb. And gloss black with blue flame the covers like what you did with the batter cover

Looks fantastic man. Looks like ill be chosing gloss instea of satin!!!

Looks good indeed

Thanks! batt covers going away though and i want something a little more subtle and low key. I plan on leaving the block pontiac blue, paints still in really good shape on it so no sence messing with a good thing lol. Plus that would mean taking it out... dont want that mess again

I am really sketched out using gunk and spraying my engine bay. How'd you do it? Cover anything up?

na, just sprayed it on, let it set for about 15 mins, hosed it off, then hit it with compressed air to blow all the water out of low lying areas... ittl smoke like a bitch when you start it up the first time but its just the chemicals burning off the headers. Its good ****. Wouldnt recomend it on an opti car though

Well slight update on the progress... Been pretty busy on getting things ready for the motorama show in Harrisburg PA... on the home stretch now. All thats left really is the battery relocation and coil relocation and building the delete plates. Also found the time to get my Koni/Strano setup on. After seeing CrimsonBirds thread I fell in love with the FRC idea and decided id try an LT1 spin on it. Turned out pretty good. Hope you dont mind me swiping your idea. Also got the new wheels in from O.E. last thursday, just gotta find time to get the tires transfered. (ittl be nice to not have bent pitted rims again). Well lemme know what you guys think... more to come.

I love everything about it....cept the off color block and intake mani. I know its pontiac blue but its just an eye sore compaired to everything else matching the theme so well. Id respray the mani at least, but thats just me.

yea I go back and forth on it. The blue airlids gone because there was to much clash there...might actually try another one in the pontiac blue and see how that looks. Personally i love the look of the motor but I agree it dosent flow the best with the rest of the cars theme.
