Input on r8 style headlights Anyone have any experience with r8 style headlights. I just purchased a 2001 Z28 and it has the r8 style projector lights. They look nice but they have really bad output. Can they be adjusted to have decent output. What are the original bulbs in this style of headlight. And if they cant be made to have decent light output does anyone have any suggestions on some projectors that could be put in this housing to make them worthwhile? Id prefer to tinker with this headlight if its adjustable and capable of getting decent output as I have zero experience retrofitting but I guess Im also willing to do what I have to do if necessary. Thanks in advance.

There are a few threads on those headlights on here. The build quality seems to be hit-or-miss. I think they use a H1 bulb.
However, you can swap out the projector in them for something better.

got a friend whos dad has them on his black SS, they look pretty good, cant say how the output is but as stated above you could always swap to a better projector in the housing. Hes had em about a year now with no issues
