Headlight pitting Has anyone had pitting happen to the plastic on their headlights and if so, have you done anything to remove it? Any polishes or mildly abrasive sanding to fix or lessen it?
mine had quite a bit when i got it a couple years ago. i wet sanded with everything from 400 grit to 2000 by hand. i then polished the lens out with a 90 degree die grinder with a wool buffing attatchment and some novus plastic polish. worked very well but it was a lot of work

Thanks and it sounds like it was. Maybe I'd be better off just trying to find some replacements? They still look good during the day, but at night with the headlights on, terrible.
