OEM or ASCD SS Hood?
OEM or ASCD SS Hood? I will be buying a SS Hood soon but need some info. Should I buy a OEM or ASCD Hood I know that the OEM is going to fit the best but cost the most. The ASCD is the best aftermarket hood from what I have heard. Which should I buy?
ASCD all the way. I just got mine painted and am well satisfied with it. The underside of the ASCD hood is rough in a few places but nothing that a good body shop can't fix. I had mine adjusted and fitting right in an hour's time. Just be sure prefit it before it goes to the paint shop. Plus, you'll have a whole lot more $$$ left for other mods.

I still say go OEM. You can probably find a used one for about the same price as a new ASCD hood. I almost bought a pewter one for $650 shipped but then decided I wanted to use the money else where.
