Default camaro headlights, new and old

ok, those of u that have replaced the faded yellowed headlights in 98-02 camaros, or have restored them, how do u prevent that oxidation/wear from returning? any specific products that really work to seal and or protect them, keep looking new??
equally as important anything that doesnt work? or ruined them?

You can't prevent it. Just polish them regularly and they won't get really bad. My car is my daily driver for most of the year. I just polish them once a month or so and they stay clear.

Most had success with having them clear coated once cleaned up.

Polishing will help very good. Keeps them from fading yellow fast.

Once polished they can be clear coated like mentioned or you can coat them with opti-seal or car pro cquartz.
