New headlights

I've got an 02 Z28 and im wanting to change out these old headlights. The high beam went out and the lows are starting to become very dim. I dont know anything about headlights but what type of HID kit would i need to get? Is it a plug n play type headlight or do i need to change out everything?I've been reading on some threads and am kind of clueless as to what people are talking about.

Idk how much money you want to spend, but i picked up a set of halo headlights.

Thats something im really looking at. Do i just take the old housing out, put the new housing in and connect the factory harness?

And how do these work on the DRL?

I havent gotten mine yet, should be here soon. AFAIK it just plugs in, unless you want to do something fancy with the halos and make them run off the parking lights, or the fog lights. When i get mine ill let you know how it all works.

Im not sure, but i believe i read a thread on here where someone made it so just the halo light up on the DRL.
