I think this hood is equally at home on a z or ss. Has very similar styling to the scoop that was on the 78-79 z's.

Looks great! That is what I did with my old Camaro and never looked back. SS and sunoco are the only good-looking hoods for these cars...IMO

I'm not a huge fan of the suncoo hoods , not saying they don't look good on the cars. Just not my car...lol

Where'd you get the hood from? Looks good.

I've never been a fan of the SS hood. I still think cowl hoods or Sunoco's look best on these cars though.

Thanks , you are the the first to like it on this site.....lol. Your grille was what gave me the idea to do mine. Plus it was super cheap to do compared to an slp grille. But I also work in a body shop.

I ordered through keystone. I work in a body shop and to be honest if you can find an oem hood that is the way to go. I wasn't and didn't expect it to fit like oem.

Looks like it fits pretty good. Most non oem fiberglass parts I don't expect to fit perfectly. My hood actually fits nicely and am happy with my VFN hood.

Not sure who makes the hood for keystone , but its fiberglass for under the hood and smc for the top of the hood. It fits alright for being an aftermarket hood. I drilled and enlongated the holes that bolt to the plate that bolts to the hood.
