5th gen steering wheel in 4th gen?
So anyone who has drove a 5th gen camaro know what im talking about..
The steering wheel is beautiful. The design the feel. Its just so good. Now my question is.. Can the fit the 4th gens?
Grant it, the ss symbol and the chevy emblems wont really match the flow of a firebird but besides the fact...
Is there like a adapter? Or swap the steering shaft?

nope... based on my research (most of which is here https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...el-f-body.html ) It wont work. The Camaro uses a diffrent style spline and shaft than the old school Saginaw columns our 4th gens use. Luckly Vettes still share the same steering shaft which is what makes the c6 swap possible with the replacement of the upper unit.... could an adapter be made? probably... has it? not yet

after doing the mod its 100 times better than the stocker wheel imo... i do agree the camaro wheels feel pretty good, would also be a nice addition. But as far as all the options with vette wheels on the market, lots to choose from. Im going to be upgrading mine to the alacatara style very soon.

Max is right on. The new Camaro doesnt even use a splined shaft, the steering wheel is attached with a large torx bolt. I think the C6 is the better option, especially with the smaller diameter flat bottom alcantara options from the aftermarket and the thicker new style 2012-2013 suede Z07 versions, the new style wheel is also available in leather. The later c6's were also available with various colors of stitching.
