LS Coil Covers
LS Coil Covers I just finished up the LS (LQ9) swap into my '67 Camaro, and would like to use a set of coil covers to hide the coil packs. I'm using Edelbrock fuel rails with an Edelbrock Vic Jr. intake.
I have looked at a lot of brands (Edelbrock, Holley, CBM, TSP-eBay). I'm leaning towards the Edelbrocks, but would need to pick up a set of coils that are compatible with their coil covers. Edelbrock says they work with coil pack #12558948 (LS1) or compatible coils. I called them today and sat on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up.
Does anyone know what other coil packs they might work with? Is there a wide range of bolt patterns for LS coil packs? I know my LQ9 one's are very different, but what about LS2, LS3, LS7, etc? Is it a height issue?
Also if anyone wants to post some pics of their coil covers to sway me towards another brand, I'd like to see them.
