Default HVAC Control *****...

Looking to upgrade/replace/swap out my HVAC *****.
Most Firebird guys agree that the ***** are just meh. Camaro ***** are black, but that's about all they got going for them, lol.

It's been talked about alot regarding possible matches/interchangeability between other vehicles, etc. But has anyone got anything new to bring to the table?

Looking for preferably something in black, that doesn't require too much work, and looks half-decent. Maybe a newer style 'round' ****?

Also, finding a headlight-controls **** to match will likely prove to be a PITA as well.

I have heard of people removing the black on the camaro ***** and vht'ing them lightly to get a different look, especially when they light up.

Removing the black? What do you mean?

I cant imagine most ***** being that much different in how the function. I'm curious if any others have any experience with personal vehicles with ***** that may fit.

Interesting. That's nothing like the Firebird *****.
The rubber comes off much easier, and leaves a white base underneath. Although, some light does pass through them-

I think I saw a guy making clear-red Grand Am *****. But I'm not sure if he just removed the rubber and painted with transparent paint, or cast a mold and made his own. I know Grand Am/Grand Prix ***** will work in our cars with a little trimming.

I put 93 Camaro ***** in my T/A. Made a huge improvement in the interior IMO but it was the first 4th gen I've found in a junkyard so I was happy. Change the dimmer scroll to trust me.

When I had my Trans Am, I just painted mine. The white line was easy to mask off. I got a pint of Dupont interior paint in GM ebony, and this glass jar kit that came with a spray attachment at a automotive paint supply store. The paint never peeled or wore off in the 3 years I had the car after the mod. I did the same to the headlight **** and fog light switch. I used a Camaro dimmer and rear defogger button.
