Default stained intake/plastics underhood

so someone who shall not be named (female in nature) thought it would be smart to spray the intake and plastics with wheel cleaner before hosing down the engine bay..... this happened... any way to fix this with a chemical and some elbow grease i hope? any easy ways?

Did it eat the plastic? Try light grit wet sanding? Might have to repaint, excuse to get the intake powder coated?

paints not eaten, just doesnt look great now.... not lookin to to have to dismantle this motor too just for some painting.... this car is a dd. i cant afford to have both of my fbodies down for a period of time.

Go get some Mothers VLR and try it. Also can try Mothers back to black. Spray it onto an applicator pad and wipe it on.

Its looking like i might have to tear it down and plastidip or sand and paint.....
