Parking Lights

Parking Lights When I got my 99 Trans Am the front parking lamps were blown out. I replaced the bulbs but then one blew out the same day and the other the next day! I think that they are getting water in them, which is causing the bulbs to blow. Of course, with the front lamps blown out I have no turn signals! Is this a problem with theses cars and what should I do? Thanks.

It's not just the 99 cars. My 2000 has the same problems. I've replaced all but two marker lamp/turn signal sockets on the car now. The marker light sockets are readily available at most discount parts stores, but the front front turn signal/DRL sockets are a GM-only part. I had to buy one last Fall, and it was $60.00 at the dealer.
