Stitching is bad can seat be saved?
Stitching is bad can seat be saved? I have a great looking right leather seat and the stitching is coming undone.
Can it be restitched? I know the leather needs to come off the seat.

Same thing was happening to my headrests and where the adjustable thing for under your legs meets the bottom part of the seat where you butt sits. I had a upholstery guy sew them back together for a few hundred as well as taking care of the typical rip ontop of the backset and bolster wear on the drivers seat. Basically my leather was very dry and hard since the car was sitting for 5 yrs, so he told me to keep spraying lexol leather restore (brown bottle the orange is the cleaner version) a few times before i brought the car to him so the leather would be soft enough to bring together and sew.
So the results? well its been like 6 months and you can tell it wants to go back to being ripped open but its holding somewhat, he used a combination of gluing the material down as well as sewing it back to keep it in place and that's helped a bunch. You have a much newer car with probably leather that is way more salvageable than mine was, you may have better results.
