Thanx man! just curious, how would you have done it? im always open to more ideas.
I probably would have gone with a different set of gauges. For some reason, I love the digital autometers! Another thing, I might have tinted that plexiglass, and hidden a shift light behind it, that way the whole cluster would light up. same with the turn signals, leave them hidden until one side lit up a bit. I think that would have been very cool.

But no complaints from me for what you did. Looks very good!

The visibility is pretty good at this angle. ill post up an inside shot later on when im off work. Im really not sure how it will affect the glare tho. But this car is not a daily driver by any means, and it will most likely only be out at night, or daytime track days. ill post up once I get the car driving around and share if it had a glare. and thanx man!

yea I went with these gauges because im doing a budget build. as it is, I got them all for around $300. The gauges I wanted would have been over $2k. im going for the more classic look, if you see my engine, its a carbd ls1 383. I painted it orange and black. looks like a sbc lol. I think these gauges fit the "classic" look I was shooting for. plus they fit my budget haha. about the plexiglass thing, I actually was going to do that, so when I turn the lights on, the plexi would glow, but I don't know if I would like that too much, and since I used the plastic "window" housing, it isn't very thick for mounting much more on it. I do like the shift light idea tho. Im actually going to put the shift light in the "tweeter" hole on the pillar. I am not fully satisfied with how the gauge panel came out, so im picking up another cluster so I can re-do it. I think the only thing ill change on it is the turn signal placement, and ill actually take my time on it and make the cuts a lot more aesthetic. I really kinda did this in a hurry and half assed just to get my car on the road. lol

This is awesome! I don't suppose that this can be done if you're still running the factory PCM?

Thank you. The wiring is pretty easy. Hardest part is routing them through the dash. There isn't much room. but I use the same wire for Volts sender to power all the gauges, and a separate wire to light each gauge. Then they all share the same ground. Im hooking the gauges/ lights up to manual switches on my panel.

Doesn't seem too bad. I would love to do something like this to mine. But I don't know how long I'll have my car. So I don't want to run a crap ton of wires and have the car become unappealing to others. Keep up the good.
