Ac vent gauge/pods??? 01 TA

I have a 01 TA and I'm wanting to put a fuel pressure gauge on the middle ac vent above the cd player how and what do I need to do for this to happen and what size gauges and all the info for this process??

2 5/8" gauges sit in there almost perfectly. From what I've read the you'll probably break the vents in the process of pulling them out.

You dont need to do anything at all but pull vent out. When I had my Trans Am, 2 5/8" gauges fit perfectly and were snug enough to not require any modifications to hold the gauge in the hole.

Also, speed inc sells a nice billet adapter for 2 1/16" gauges to fit there as well

If you already have gauges or the one you want doesn't come in 2 5/8" try this....

^^^^^^ did this couple of years ago for my aeroforce gauge and now it holds my AEM FailSafe boost/wideband. Love it. Holds gauge perfectly, and you can easily pull gauge out. And no, my vent didn't survive the operation!! Also be careful when reinstalling vent ring, they can become brittle, mine shattered into 3-4 pieces. But superglue works miracles!!! Lol
