Removing seats, airbag question?

Removing seats, airbag question? I am about to remove my front seats on my car and i noticed control modules under the seats. I am removing the rug to do some welding
I assume they are for the airbags. Can I just disconnect these and reconnect them after? Will they still work properly?

the only airbag related thing on the 4th gen f-body I know of is the 1 under the center console, I haven't scene ones under the seat before, are you sure there airbag related, remember the airbag system is wrapped in YELLOW loom with YELLOW connectors, if it's not yellow it's not airbags.

Yeah like Crimson said, disconnect the battery first. If you want wait about 10 minutes to be sure if you think it's air bag related.

Yep no airbag stuff that I know of under the seat. All cars with power seats will have a connector under the drivers seat, and if you have a car with the bolsters and all you'll have that stuff under there as well I believe (never had that option so I'm not 100%). The only places you should find airbag connections I think are in the console by the shifter, the steering wheel and in the dash, and as mentioned they're a bright yellow.

You guys were right the airbag is in under the center console. Turns out the lumbar support pump was under the passenger seat. I saw all the air lines and i didnt want to mess with it till i was sure.
