Rear Diffuser is usefull? (at least in a Fbody?)
Im building a 2001 Z28 and want to do something nice (not ricer) in the rear bumper, I seen most of today sport cars have a really massive Diffuser, and is getting even bigger each year at the point we can find cars like Veneno.. where the rear Diffuser its almost the 75% of the rear... but in real world and talking about a track focused Fbody, its really useful in our cars?
I would like a diffuser in the car because they really look nice, and if the can help with stability and the air flow, that would be a win win situation in performance and style, now I have 2 options.. going with something hand made and discrete like this picture

or going for a diffuser installed in a rear bumper, like the 6LE rear diffuser...

but I have been searching the web and it looks that everyone is just waiting for somebody to make the first step, because I can't find any pictures of that bumper installed, I'm afraid to spend 600+shipping in a bumper that doesn't looks right
what would you do?
and.. if somebody have a picture of the bumper installed, can show it to me ?
thanks guys!

If you're doing anything on that level, with these cars you're pretty much on your own to do something custom, since there isn't much of an aftermarket for them, especially not for something as specific as that.
the 6LE is 100% non-functional. Purely an appearance piece. If you do a search you should be able to find some cars with it. Several people here have it installed.
That car is built for high speeds.. ~200mph when the aero performance is really necessary, and actually noticed. I don't think you'll really notice a difference at lower speeds, like below 160ish.
